Privacy Policy — OrderBeaver by CorePDI
Effective date: 2026-08-18 Last updated: 2026-08-24
1. Who we are
OrderBeaver is an order-management platform operated by CorePDI ("we", "us"). Independent food businesses — bakers and caterers — use OrderBeaver to take and manage custom orders from their own customers.
This policy covers two groups:
- Business operators who hold an OrderBeaver account.
- Customers who place an order through a business's OrderBeaver storefront.
If you placed an order with a bakery or caterer, that business decides what it asks you for and how it uses it. We provide the software and handle the data on that business's behalf.
2. What we collect
When you place an order, we collect what the order form asks for:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your event type and event date.
- Your fulfillment date, whether you chose pickup or delivery, and your preferred time window.
- If you chose delivery, your delivery street address, city, state and ZIP code.
- The items you selected and any customization you described — flavor, filling, frosting, theme, color palette, inscription, decoration notes, packaging notes and special instructions.
- Your acknowledgment of the allergen notice.
- Any reference images you upload, together with the original file name, file type and size.
When you hold a business account, we collect your name, email address, an encrypted form of your password, and — if you enable two-factor authentication — the secret that generates your codes.
Notes recorded by a business. A business using OrderBeaver can record internal notes about a customer. These are visible to that business and to OrderBeaver staff providing support. They are not visible to the customer.
3. What we do with it
- Take, manage and fulfill your order.
- Send you order updates by email and, if you have agreed to it, by text message.
- Sign you in and keep your account secure.
- Operate and support the platform, including diagnosing faults.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell it. We run no marketing email program and maintain no mailing lists.
4. Payments
We do not process payments and we never see or store your card details. Businesses using OrderBeaver display their own payment instructions — for example a PayPal or Cash App handle — and you pay them directly. Those payment details are shown to you as text; we do not transmit anything to a payment provider on your behalf.
We record whether a business has marked a deposit or balance as received. That is a note made by the business, not a payment record.
5. Who else receives your information
We use the following service providers to run OrderBeaver. Each receives only what it needs:
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| SendGrid | Sends order and account emails (Twilio SendGrid). Receives your email address and message content. |
| Twilio | Sends order text messages. Receives your phone number and message content. |
| Supabase | Hosts our database and file storage. Holds order records and uploaded images. |
| Vercel | Hosts and serves the application. |
We do not share your information with anyone else, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages when you place an order, we send you updates about that order — for example that it has been received, confirmed, is ready, or has been cancelled.
Agreeing to text messages is not a condition of placing an order. You can place an order without agreeing.
You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. See our Terms of Service for full details.
7. Keeping your information separate
Each business using OrderBeaver can see only its own orders and its own customers. This separation is enforced by the database itself, not only by the application.
8. How long we keep your information
While you are an active customer — for as long as the relationship lasts, beginning when the account or order is created. We keep it to fulfill the contract and to provide ongoing operational support.
After you stop being a customer — for at least 12 months and no more than 36 months from your last interaction with us, or from the closure of your account, whichever is later. We keep it for that period to handle disputes, to cover warranty windows, and to defend against legal claims.
After that period we delete it or render it anonymous.
9. Your choices
- Text messages — reply STOP to stop them.
- Access, correction or deletion — contact us at admin@orderbeaver.io and we will pass your request to the business you ordered from, or handle it directly if it concerns your OrderBeaver account.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
